Once your contracts have been signed and arrangement fee paid, you will receive email updates every 2 weeks to provide you with an estimated delivery date.

If you have not received these updates, or you wish to obtain a more recent update on your vehicle, submit an enquiry via our Contact form and one of our Customer Experience Advisors will be in touch within 24 hours (Monday to Friday).

Your delivery will take place anytime between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to advise on the exact time; however, the vehicle delivery driver should call approximately one hour prior to arrival.

Once the electric vehicle has arrived, please be sure to check it thoroughly inside and out to make sure you are happy. If you need to make any comments, please note these down on the Delivery Release Note (DRN) provided by the driver.

Please ensure you sign this document and print your name. If the vehicle is being leased through a company, please ensure the company name is also printed.

If your lease is a business contract hire agreement, someone else from within your company can sign for the vehicle.

If your lease is a personal contract hire agreement, then the person named on the agreement must be present to take delivery.

Should the delivery date or location be inconvenient, we would be more than happy to amend this for you. Please submit an enquiry via our Contact form and a member of the Customer Experience Team will contact you within 24 hours (Monday to Friday).

No you don't.

The funder is the owner and registered keeper of the vehicle, they are responsible for taxing the vehicle on your behalf.

Most funders will allow you to change your payment date, provided you have received at least one invoice. Please contact your funder directly to change your payment date.

You can find the contact details on our Funder contact details page.

Your initial rental will be taken automatically via direct debit approximately 10-14 days after delivery of the vehicle. The remaining payments will then follow on a monthly basis thereafter.

Your funder (Lex Autolease, Arval UK Limited, Alphabet or Leaseplan) will be both the registered keeper and owner of the vehicle.

You should expect to receive your contracts 2-5 working days after you have received finance acceptance.

If you have been waiting longer than this, or you have any questions, please give us a call on 01628 899 727

Your vehicle registration may not show up on any insurance databases or on the DLVA website prior to delivery because the vehicle is not usually registered until the delivery day.

Once registered, it can take up to 24-48 hours to appear. However, if you give your insurance company a ring, you will be able to organise the insurance by providing the vehicle's make, model and trim.

The arrangement fee is a one-off administration fee that covers our operational costs for your order.

Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive an email from Stripe, our payment processing platform, with a link to pay your arrangement fee.

You can pay using a Credit or Debit Card or Apple Pay.

For our corporate accounts, you will receive a manual invoice payable by BACS under your agreed payment terms.

The cooling-off period is a mandatory 14-day period that starts from the point contracts are signed. Delivery of your electric vehicle cannot take place during this time.

The cooling-off period is part of The Consumer Contracts Regulations and designed to protect the consumer, we are unable to waive this.

Your estimated delivery date is a guide as to when your car will arrive and is not set in stone, sometimes world events disrupt supply chains for example and this could affect your vehicle's production and delivery timeline.

Once your contacts are signed we will send you regular order updates via email to keep you in the loop. These emails always contain an estimated delivery month - we will pinpoint and confirm a specific date as soon as we are able to when your vehicle is ready for delivery.

Due to unprecedented global events, all carmakers are experiencing significant disruptions to their supply chains. Unfortunately, this does mean your delivery date may change at short notice.

DriveElectric works hard with our supply partners to do everything in our power to minimise the impact on your vehicle delivery date. However, there is a limit to what we can control. If your delivery date does change, rest assured we will keep you informed and updated as soon as we can.

Once your contracts for your car (or van) are signed we will start to send you regular order updates containing an estimated delivery month for your vehicle. We will confirm a specific date as soon as we are able to when your vehicle is ready for delivery.
