Stay in the loop – NetX Field Trial
The ‘Electric Vehicle (EV) Network Extender (NetX) Field Trial’ is supported by InnovateUK and funded by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles
About the project
One of the biggest questions for electric car drivers is how easy it is to charge their car. This survey from DriveElectric and the Smart Mobility Unit of the University of Hertfordshire is about the access to electric vehicles and their charging. It is part of a much larger innovation project, entitled Electric Vehicle (EV) Network Extender (NetX) Field Trial that is testing a technology that would greatly improve the provision of publicly available EV charging.
Part of the project is to explore areas that would make it easier to access EV charging so more people could have the ability to have an electric vehicle now. You did not need to be an electric vehicle driver to participate in this preparatory survey. We will share some initial findings of this survey soon.
