About This Vehicle
The Outlander 4hs trim package features adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, auto high beam, and an improved safety pack in addition to the features of the 4h model.
The Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) is the world’s first plug-in hybrid SUV and hugely popular in the UK. The 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV powertrain and chassis has been revised for 2019, with new dampers and rear suspension bushes, making it a quieter and more refined to drive than ever. Rapid charging has also been improved, reducing its charging time to 80% from 30 minutes to approximately 25 minutes.
The Mitsubishi outlander’s pure electric range has also increased slightly, this PHEV has an official WLTP electric range rating of 28 miles, designed to make shorter journeys (including the average UK commute) much cheaper as little or no petrol will be required.
The Outlander PHEV’s twin electric motors and a highly efficient 2.0 litre petrol engine provide a combined range of 542 miles.
This vehicle also has a smartphone app (available from the App Store and Google Play) that you can use to remotely control the climate control, view the current charge level, view the time left to charge and set when your car will charge itself.
Plug-in hybrids can be great in certain situations, but you really do have to charge them regularly to get the best efficiency from them. Read our PHEV disclaimer to find out if a plug-in hybrid is right for you
