Please note the Volkswagen ID.3 1st Edition lease option is for business customers only – If you looking to lease this electric car on personal contract hire take a look at our Volkswagen ID.3 Life Pro Performance model lease deals.
The Volkswagen ID.3 is the first electric vehicle from the ID line up and is now available to lease. The ID family will be a range of electric cars based on Volkswagen’s new MEB platform. VW designed the ID.3 with similar dimensions to a Volkswagen Golf but with the interior space of a Passat, giving you the result of a small car with lots of space. The ID.3 is one of a kind and combines quality, range and affordability making this a great vehicle choice for all and was designed for everyone. The car is also the first Volkswagen to be produced carbon-neutral.
ID.3 is available in 3 battery sizes in total; you can choose between 48 kWh, 62 kWh or 82 kWh. With ‘real world’ ranges of between 175 and 280 miles depending on the battery size. This ID.3 1st edition has a 62 kWh battery and has been given an official range of 261 miles (WLTP). We estimate that in real world driving conditions this will be around 235 miles per charge.
This new electric car has the latest driving technology, including 3 drive modes helping to tailor your driving experience to your driving style or needs, Eco mode for example will enable you to get the absolute best out of your battery and lengthen your vehicle range as far as possible for those longer trips. The ID.3 electric car also has ID.Light – which is a new feature assisting your journey helping you navigate through traffic, communicating with you visually. ID.Light will also respond with light when reacting to your voice control commands.
ID.3 1ST edition will receive free-of-charge electric power for one year up to a maximum of 2,000 kWh – at public charging points connected to Volkswagen’s WeCharge charging app as well as on the IONITY fast charging network.
This ID.3 lease option also includes some exclusive features such as interior and exterior styling unique 1ST steering wheel insert and ‘Play & Pause’ pedals and a performance upgrade (approx. 2 seconds faster from 0-62 mph than the standard vehicle at 7.3 seconds).
Charging up the ID.3 is simple, when your charging at home plugging into a standard 7kWh wall box charger it will take around 9 hours 30 minutes to gain a full charge. You can top up in a hurry by using a public charger gaining 80% charge in as little as 35 minutes (using a 100kW rapid charger).
