All manufacturers now offer at least 12-months roadside breakdown assistance, while some manufacturers offer even longer breakdown assistance cover.

When you receive a new car there will be details of this breakdown assistance within the vehicle guide. Alternatively, many insurance policies often cover breakdown assistance too. If you have a maintenance package with your contract, breakdown cover is included.

If the electric vehicle runs out of charge, this is not a manufacturer fault and you will be charged for the cost of recovery.

In the unfortunate event of an accident, you will need to contact your insurance company.

In the case of a total loss, you will need to ask your insurance company to contact your funder with the date of incident, category of loss and last known mileage. The funder will then liaise directly with your insurer to provide a vehicle valuation.
