Pod partners with Jurni Group to make home charging simple and affordable

For anyone switching to electric, sorting a home charger is one of the first practical jobs on the list. It's also one that can feel like an extra hassle on top of choosing the right car, so this partnership is designed to take that friction away entirely.

Whether you're on a Salary Sacrifice scheme, Business Contract Hire or Personal Contract Hire, you'll have two straightforward options:

Two ways to get charging sorted

  • Buy outright with £100 off. A Pod Point home charger, normally £999 for an untethered unit, comes down to £899.

  • Subscribe with nothing upfront. Pod's three-year home charging subscription has its usual £99 upfront fee waived, so you can get started with just a simple monthly cost from day one.

Both options come with a five-year warranty, Pod's 24/7 customer support, and access to Pod Rewards, which pays drivers for smart charging at home. By letting Pod schedule your charging for times when demand on the grid is lower, you could earn up to £100 a year in cash rewards, on top of what you're already saving by driving electric.

Cheaper charging, day to day

Customers also get access to Pod Power by EDF, an exclusive EV energy tariff offering a seven-hour off-peak window at 6.49p/kWh every night. That means a reliable, low-cost window to charge at home, keeping running costs down over the life of your lease.

Pod has completed more than 300,000 installs across the UK and holds a Which? accredited installation service, so you can get your charger fitted with confidence.

What this means for you

If you're taking on a new EV lease with us, this partnership means home charging no longer needs to be a separate decision made under pressure. It's built into the process, with a genuine discount or a no-upfront-cost route, whichever suits you better.

Ash Boaden, Senior Director of Business Development for Fleet & Lease at Pod, said leasing and Salary Sacrifice already remove many of the barriers to getting into an EV, but that home charging has too often been treated as an afterthought. This partnership changes that, giving customers on any of our leasing routes a clear, affordable path to sorting a charger alongside their car.

Duncan Fitzgerald, Chief Operating Officer at Jurni Group, added that Pod has been a long-standing partner through DriveElectric and our relationship with EDF, and that extending this across the wider Jurni Group was a natural next step. Making home charging simple and affordable, and properly integrated with our leasing options, is about removing barriers to EV adoption for businesses and individual drivers alike.
