MG Motor UK manufactures its electric cars in China - the brand is part of SAIC Motor and has several plants in China which produces pure electric vehicles.

As with most electric vehicles in the UK, all MG badged electric cars come with a Type 2./CCS charge port. This means a standard Type 2 cable can be used to plug the MG into a home charger or workplace charger for an AC top-up. MG EVs can also accept CCS DC chargers from public charging networks.
