Further proof of EVs going mainstream - when established carmakers bring out pure electric versions of long-standing, popular models. So it is welcome news that the 308 is now available as a 100%, zero tailpipe emission car.

French brand, part of the Stellantis stable of manufacturers, has the commitment to offer all of its range in an electric format by 2025.

Announced in late 2022 and available on sale in the second half of 2023, the Peugeot e-308 is a C-segment sized car and comes in either Hatchback or estate format. A single powertrain is available, a new 115kW motor coupled to a 54 kWh battery pack. WLTP vehicle range tops out at 248 miles, so we expect driving in real-world conditions to be around 200-210 miles on a full charge.

Latest generation driver display

Peugeot calls its driver focused tech and display i-Cockpit and the e-308 gets it's latest generation. So expect a nice clear 10-inch central touchscreen to control most of the car's functions with a few taps. Some models get a heated steering wheel and a digital head-up display too. While the e-308 also comes with plenty of safety equipment too, with Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring all part of the model's arsenal.

We're expecting the Peugeot e-308 to be a popular electric car lease here at DriveElectric, thanks to it having a great mix of familiarity as well as Peugeot's latest EV kit.
