Mercedes-Benz eVito All-Electric Van – Everything You Need To Know

The eVito Van can carry a payload of up to 807 kg and has a maximum load volume of 6.6m3. It has a 66kWh battery which can deliver a range of up to 162 miles and it can be rapid charged from 10-80% in 35 minutes.

Using workplace 11kW charging, the eVito can be charged to 100% in six and a half hours. A domestic power outlet would deliver a full charge in 20 hours.

The eVito’s electric motor drives the front wheels, delivering power of 116hp and up to 360 Nm of torque.

Drivers can adjust brake regeneration using gearshift paddles and there’s also a new automatic recuperation mode.

Charging points are featured in the sat nav, and the van can be pre-heated or cooled while charging using the Mercedes me app.

The new eVito is available in PROGRESSIVE trim; standard specification includes air conditioning, a Comfort driver’s seat with heating, a reversing camera, and the AUDIO 30 entertainment system with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

There’s also a new PREMIUM line adding styling features such as metallic paint with colour-coded bumpers, 17-inch, aerodynamically-optimised light alloy wheels, a chrome grille and a leather-covered steering wheel, along with driver aids including PARKTRONIC parking sensors, front fog lights, electrically-folding door mirrors and lumbar support for the seat.

Prices for the new eVito panel van start at £43,600 for the L2 PROGRESSIVE variant, excluding VAT and the OZEV grant contribution.

The Mercedes-Benz eVito is now available for order by UK customers, with production and first deliveries starting in March. Mercedes-Benz will soon offer a small electric van in the form of the eCitan to join the eVito and the large eSprinter van.

Whether you’re an SME looking to make the switch to a single electric van, or a large business wanting to go green with a battery powered fleet, we’ve got all sizes and prices to suit.
