At the heart of the new Audi A6 Sportback e-tron is cutting edge 800V architecture with a large 94.9 kWh battery pack.
It's closest siblings is the Audi Q6 e-tron and underneath the skin of the vehicle it shares many of the same components.
The benefit of the 800V architecture is best seen when requiring a top up at a public charging station. It's one of the few models that can take best advantage of the growing numbers of ultra-rapid DC charging springing up. Under optimal conditions the A6 e-tron can accept up to 270 kW of power. Giving it the possibility of adding over 100 miles of real world range in 10 minutes.
