There's a brand new Kia Niro in town. Slight name change from e-Niro to Niro EV to boot as well. Will it be as popular as the model it replaces? Of course it will be!
The all-new Kia Niro EV is a practical and versatile electric SUV, combining an efficient electric powertrain with a spacious, well-equipped interior.
Following the success of the e-Niro it replaces, the Niro EV offers a compelling combination of comfort, technology and everyday usability, making it an excellent choice for electric car leasing.

The Kia Niro EV is powered by a 64.8kWh lithium-ion polymer battery connected to a 150kW electric motor. It offers an impressive balance of performance and efficiency, with a real-world range of around 235 miles and a WLTP figure of close to 290 miles.
With rapid charging, the Niro EV can replenish its battery from 10% to 80% in around 45 minutes, making it well suited to longer journeys as well as everyday driving.
| Charge port | Fastcharge Power | Fastcharge speed |
|---|---|---|
| Type 2 / CCS | 80kW DC (max.) | 240 mph |
The Kia Niro EV can charge from 10% to 80% in around 45 minutes using a rapid charger, making it easy to top up during longer journeys.
The Kia Niro EV is available in a choice of well-equipped trim levels, with higher-specification versions adding extra comfort, convenience and technology features.
The entry-level trim is still packed with equipment, including LED headlights, rear parking sensors, a battery heating system, touchscreen display, 17-inch alloy wheels and Apple CarPlay.
The '3' adds Vehicle to Load (V2L) functionality, 18-inch alloy wheels, front parking sensors, keyless entry and rear privacy glass.
The range-topping '4' includes heated rear seats, front passenger relaxation seating, a power-operated boot, vegan leather interior, a sunroof and upgraded audio system.

Kia currently produce three versions of the Niro, Kia Niro Hybrid, Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid and the 100% electric version Kia Niro EV. If you're looking to lease the zero emission Niro EV, then take a look at all of our offers and trim levels above.
