Hyundai announces IONIQ 5 UK launch line-up
Hyundai has announced that its forthcoming IONIQ 5 electric car will be available with a choice of three trim levels in the UK.
Kicking the range off is the SE Connect trim which comes with smart 12.3-inch LCD audio, visual and nav system complete with DAB radio, Apple Car Play and Android connectivity, wireless phone charging, rear view camera and smart navigation-based cruise control.
Sitting in the middle of the range is Premium adds heated seats, powered boot, and Hyundai’s Highway Drive Assist Level 2 with automatic lane changing function.
At the top of the IONIQ 5 range at launch is the Ultimate, which adds that little bit extra polish to the very accomplished model – a BOSE sound system, leather seats, and a heads up display.
Based on the Korean carmaker’s E-GMP platform, the IONIQ 5 comes with a choice of three powertrain options; a 58 kWh rear wheel drive, a 73 kWh rear wheel drive, or a 73 kWh all-wheel drive.
