The Kia Soul is a funky alternative to the increasingly popular Kia E-Niro. Utilising the same 64kWh battery and electric powertrain, the Kia Soul is a roomy hatchback packed with all of the modern features you'd expect from a cutting-edge electric vehicle.
With a touchscreen navigation in the centre of the dashboard and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, entertainment and information is never in short supply.
Safety wise there's plenty of driver aids: lane keep assist, collision avoidance assist and smart cruise-control all make the Kia Soul an extremely safe family car.
The Kia Soul comes with Kia's signature 64kWh battery.
This powerful pack grants the Soul an official WLTP range of 281 miles. At DriveElectric however, we advise customers on a 'real world' range for all of our lease vehicles to ensure there are no surprises when you're behind the wheel. As such, we put the Kia Soul's range more around the 225 mile figure.
Charging wise the Kia uses both Type 2 and CCS connectors. At home via a domestic 7kW wall-box, the Kia Soul will be fully charged in around 10 hours 30 minutes. Utilise a 100kW rapid charger out on the road and the battery will charge from 10-80% in less than 45 minutes.
