Isuzu to launch all electric pick-up in 2025
Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu will be showcasing the D-Max BEV pick-up in Bangkok next week.
Not a brand we've ever mentioned on these pages but that's about to change as famed pick-up manufacturer Isuzu has confirmed plans to launch an all electric version of its award-winning D-Max pick-up in Europe during 2025.

Set to be revealed at the Bangkok International Motor Show next week, the D-Max BEV boasts a 1,000kg payload and 3.5-tonne towing capacity. There's a 70kWh battery pack on tap and Isuzu has also confirmed "e-Axles" which will provide an always on 4WD drive system.
The Isuzu D-Max BEV represents a new chapter in our commitment to sustainable mobility. With its innovative electric powertrain and rugged design, it demonstrates our dedication to providing customers with reliable and environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
It's heading to Europe in 2025 but the UK won't be the first to get it, Isuzu has plans to launch on the mainland first - and the marque has stressed expansion into the UK will only happen when they perceive the charging infrastructure to be sufficient as well as the demand for the electric pick-up to be there.
Currently, UK customers have a single BEV pick-up option and that's the Maxus T90EV, so we can't wait to see a new Pick-up arrive on these shores.
