About the Peugeot e-Rifter
The Peugeot e-Rifter is for the family where a traditional 5-seater simply won't do. Designed to accommodate five people with ample space (or seven people for the 'Long' version) - this French MPV is the ultimate option for a growing family.
Three driving modes allow the e-Rifter to cater to the ever-changing and specific driver needs when out on the open road. Eco-mode preserves vehicle range and optimises battery usage, Normal-mode is perfect for every day use and normal driving, with Power-mode adding a sporty element to the otherwise sensible car. Regenerative braking also allows an element of customisation to the driving experience.
To keep passengers entertained, there's integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to ensure no journey is boring. Both are accessed via a stunning 10" digital touchscreen, which compliments the 10" digital instrument cluster.
Charging the Peugeot e-Rifter
The Peugeot e-Rifter is offered with a 50kWh battery (which equates to 45kWh of useable battery).
In terms of official WLTP range, the Standard and Long variants of the e-Rifter achieve a mileage of 175 miles and 170 miles respectively. At DriveElectric, we also publish a 'real world' range figure on all of our vehicles - just so there are no surprises when our customers are out driving. As such, we'd suggest both variants of the e-Rifter achieve an actual range of 120 miles.
The e-Rifter uses both Type 2 and CCS connectors to charge. Via a standard 7kWh wall-box charger at home, the Peugeot can fully refill its battery in just 7 hours 15 minutes. Utilise a 100kW+ rapid charger however, and the battery can be topped up from 10-80% in 26 minutes.
