The MG 5 EV Estate is MG’s all-electric estate car and is the first of its kind in the UK vehicle market and available to lease right now.
The MG 5 Estate EV has a 52.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and has been given an official driving range of 214 miles WLTP. DriveElectric’s recommendation on a real-world range of this EV is around 180 miles per charge allowing you to drive most journeys without the need to charge.
On a typical home charger (7kW) a full charge will take around 6 hours 30 mins. Topping up using a 50kWh public rapid charger (ie: at a motorway service station), you will reach 80% battery capacity in approximately 45 minutes, so why not check out our MG 5 EV lease options today? Find out more on charging your electric car in our handy charging guide: How long does it take to charge an electric car?
This spacious 5 seater electric car has a high capacity boot holding 1456 litres with seats folded (577 litres with seats up). It’s full of the latest technology and safety features from MG as standard. Including; Advanced Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity and DAB radio.
In addition, this ‘Exclusive’ model’s trim comes with added extras such as heated and electrically adjustable front seats, iGo Navigation System, rain-sensing wipers and a heated windscreen. We recommend heated seats as they are essential in an EV – using these rather than the cabin heating will keep you warm and help preserve your driving range in our chilly UK winter months!
All of the above features are available in the MG 5 EV Estate lease, however, if you like MG cars but looking for a different style? Check out our MG ZS EV lease offers, another budget-friendly option from MG and ideal for those looking for an all-electric SUV.
Electric vehicles are easy to charge, cheap to run and better for the environment.
If every car on the road was an electric car, we'd all benefit from cleaner air in our lungs.
