Polestar mark 5 years in the UK with record breaking celebration

Polestar has marked its fifth anniversary in the UK with the brand’s largest-ever customer event: Polestar Festival. Held at Bicester Motion on September 13th, the celebration gathered over 1,000 customers to witness the UK unveiling of the new Polestar 5, a four-door performance Grand Tourer.

Since selling its first UK car in 2020, Polestar has grown rapidly, with more than 45,000 vehicles now on UK roads. To commemorate the milestone, 180 owners created the world’s largest Polestar logo, a 170-metre-wide display formed entirely from customer cars.

Hosted by presenter and car enthusiast Vicki Butler-Henderson, the festival also featured technology showcases, test drives, simulators, and talks on EV range, design, and sustainability.

It feels fitting that on Polestar’s 5th anniversary in the UK, the brand chose this milestone moment to unveil the all-new Polestar 5, a perfect ‘five for five’ celebration. Matt Galvin, Managing Director of Polestar UK, summed up the excitement of the weekend:
