ŠKODA’s electric future has arrived with the CITIGOe iV, ŠKODA’s first all-electric vehicle. Distinctive from the ICE version, this electric car comes exclusively the front grille is the same colour as the vehicle’s body as well as a few other features to differentiate the electric version. Similar in design to the VW e-Up! and SEAT Mii Electric.
The CITIGOe iV comes with a 37kWh battery (32.3kWh usable capacity) which gives the vehicle an official range of 162 miles (WLTP), the real-world range of the vehicle will be around 130 miles to a charge depending on your driving style. Drivers can choose from three driving modes (normal, eco and eco+), these can tailor the style of driving and lengthen the battery range. When charging the ŠKODA CITIGOe iV at home on a standard 7kW wall box charger you should expect a full charge in around 5 hours 30 mins. The CITIGOe iV does not come with rapid charging as standard, however this capability is available as an add-on at an additional cost: choose to upgrade to the ‘SE L’ model for rapid charging capabilities and the inclusion of a Type 2 charging cable.
