ŠKODA’s electric future has arrived with the CITIGOe iV, ŠKODA’s first all-electric vehicle. There are a few features that make this EV distinctive from the ICE version, including this electric car’s front grille, which is the same colour as the vehicle’s body. Similar in design to the VW e-Up! and SEAT Mii Electric (both coming soon).
The CITIGOe iV comes with a 37kWh battery (32.3kWh usable capacity), providing an official range of 162 miles (WLTP), the real-world range of the vehicle is around 130 miles per charge depending on your driving style. Drivers can choose from three driving modes (normal, eco and eco+), tailoring the driving experience to your style of driving. Eco mode is hady if you need to get every last mile from the battery range on a longer trip. For more information on electric vehicle range read our handy guide: “Electric vehicle range: everything you need to know”
When charging the ŠKODA CITIGOe iV at home on a standard 7kW wall box charger a full charge will take around 5 hours 30 mins. The CITIGOe iV does not come with rapid charging as standard, however for a local runaround or for a modest regular commute this EV would be a great choice and charging at home would keep you topped up.
There is a 16 week lead time on this vehicle
Electric vehicles are easy to charge, cheap to run and better for the environment.
If every car on the road was an electric car, we'd all benefit from cleaner air in our lungs.
