New MG4 EV Extended Range model covers over 300 miles

This 300+ mile electric driving range is possible thanks to a new, larger 77 kWh battery, which can also be charged from 10% to 80% in as little as 39 minutes, using a 150 kW DC public rapid charger.

The MG4 EV Extended Range also features the more powerful 180 kW electric motor which offers more performance, giving a 0-62 mph time of just 6.5 seconds.

This MG retains the same rear-wheel drive layout as other MG4 models, delivering rewarding handling, and features larger 18-inch alloy wheels, as well as a black two-tone roof.

The Extended Range model is the fifth in the MG4 EV line-up, joining the recently-launched MG4 EV XPOWER. With 435 PS and up to 600 Nm of torque, the MG4 EV XPOWER is the most powerful production MG ever built, with all-wheel drive and a 0-62 mph time of 3.8 seconds – which is impressive for a sub-£40,000 family hatchback.

In fact, the MG4 EV has been found to be impressive all round and was named as UK Car of the Year 2023, with a panel of experts selecting the all-electric hatchback as the best new car on sale in the UK today.
