The 2019 Hyundai IONIQ Electric Premium SE is the new and updated model. It has been given a slight facelift, new features and it comes with a bigger 38kWh battery, meaning the electric car now has more range.
The Electric Premium SE model has an updated interior and comes with privacy glass. Front and rear parking sensors are also included in the SE model as well as blind spot detection (BSD) and Lane Follow Assist (LFA).
The IONIQ was the first car in the world to offer separate hybrid, full electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains within one body type. This electric car also won the FleetNews 2017 award for Best Plug-in Car.
This electric car has a claimed zero-emissions range of up to 174 miles NEDC, this translates to around 140 miles of ‘real world’ range.
How long will it take to charge? The 2019 Hyundai IONIQ electric is capable of recharging from 0 – 80 % in just 50 mins when using a 50kw rapid charger.
