Škoda has just confirmed UK pricing for the Peaq, its new all-electric flagship SUV. It's the biggest car the brand has ever built, and the first all-electric model from Škoda with seating for seven.
Prices start from £51,980 OTR, with order books opening in September 2026. The Peaq plays a big part in Škoda's plan to double the size of its electric range over the coming years, joining the Enyaq, Elroq and Epiq as part of a growing EV line-up.
So what do you actually get for that money? Quite a lot, as it turns out. The Peaq is built on Volkswagen Group's MEB platform and comes with an 86kWh battery, the largest ever fitted to a Škoda. That gives a WLTP range of up to 390 miles, depending on the trim and drivetrain you choose. Charging is rapid too, with up to 199kW DC capability, meaning a 10 to 80 percent top-up takes around 28 minutes on a suitable charger.
There are two drivetrain options. The 90 is rear-wheel drive, while the 90x adds all-wheel drive as standard. Power outputs range from 286PS to 299PS, and the quickest version gets from 0 to 62mph in 6.8 seconds, which is brisk for a car this size.
Size is really the headline here. At nearly 4.9 metres long, the Peaq has room for seven adults and a genuinely useful boot. With all seats up you get 299 litres, rising to 890 litres with the third row folded, and a maximum of 2,075 litres with both rear rows down. There's also a 37-litre frunk up front, handy for stashing your charging cables.
The design itself takes its cues from the Vision 7S concept car, and carries the same Tech-Deck Face styling already familiar from the Elroq and Enyaq, just on a much larger scale.
Inside, the Peaq brings a new 13.6-inch vertical infotainment screen running Android, plus a 10-inch driver display. There's a digital key option too, so you can lock and unlock the car from your phone or smartwatch instead of carrying a physical key. A few neat practical touches stand out, including wiper blades with built in washers, a panoramic glass roof that can be tinted electronically in sections, and a QR code in the boot that links to a video showing you how to make the most of the space.
Three trim levels will be available at launch. SE L is the entry point and comes well equipped, with Edition adding extra kit like matrix LED headlights and Area View cameras, and SportLine sitting at the top with sportier styling, bigger wheels and adaptive chassis control.

It's a strong addition to Škoda's growing EV line-up, and one that's clearly aimed at families who need space without giving up on range or charging speed. We'll be keeping an eye on the Peaq as it gets closer to launch, and we'll have leasing options available here at DriveElectric after orders officially open.
