About this electric car
Designed specifically for a lithium-ion battery-powered chassis, the new model Nissan LEAF Tekna is a medium-size hatchback that comfortably seats five adults and is fitted with the same 40kWh battery as the N-Connecta Trim version has a range of up to 168 miles WLTP on a single charge, at DriveElectric we recommend this vehicle will achieve a ‘real world range’ of around 150 miles.
When your charging the Nissan LEAF at home on a standard 7kW Wallbox charger, you can expect it to take around 6 hours 30 minutes to gain a full charge. When you need to add some miles on in a hurry, you have the option for public fast charging, this can charge the battery from 0 – 80% in around 40 minutes when using a 50kWh rapid charger.
The Tekna is the next model up from the N-Connecta, and comes equipped with extra features such as Bose premium audio, electronic parking brake, heated seats and steering wheel, and full LED headlights with an auto levelling system.
