Performance, battery and range
The OMODA E5 is powered by a 61 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery paired with a 150 kW motor, producing around 201 bhp. It accelerates from 0–62 mph in approximately 7.6 seconds, delivering smooth, instant torque and a quiet, refined drive.
Its WLTP range reaches up to 273 miles, while real-world driving typically yields around 205 miles depending on conditions. This makes it suitable for commuting, weekend trips, and longer journeys, placing it alongside competitors such as the BYD Atto 3 and MG ZS EV.
Charging the Omoda E5 electric car
Charging the E5 is simple and flexible. A 7 kW home wallbox will fully charge the battery in about nine hours, ideal for overnight top-ups. On the go, the vehicle supports DC rapid charging up to 80 kW, allowing a 20–80% charge in roughly 30 minutes.
Whether at home, work, or on the public network, the E5 delivers convenient charging for everyday use. If you want to find out more about charging an electric vehicle, you can read our handy electric vehicle charging guide.

Soft-touch materials and subtle ambient lighting enhance the cabin, which offers plenty of space for passengers and luggage. This makes the E5 a practical choice for families or anyone seeking a versatile electric SUV.
Omoda E5 trim levels
The OMODA E5 is offered in two trims: Knight and Noble.
The Knight trim has a sporty and confident style, with two-tone paint options and smart interior detailing. It includes the dual-screen digital cockpit, wireless smartphone integration, smart keyless entry, and a power tailgate for everyday convenience.
