About the Kia Soul EV lease

The Kia Soul EV is the entry into the Kia all electric car range, joining the new Niro EV and range topping EV6 in the Korean carmaker's line-up.

A roomy small SUV shape, the Soul EV is now available with two battery sizes - the medium range 39kWh and the long range 64kWh versions.

With a touchscreen navigation in the centre of the dashboard and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, entertainment and information is never in short supply.

Safety wise there's plenty of driver aids: lane keep assist, collision avoidance assist and smart cruise-control all make the Kia Soul an extremely safe family car.

Charging the Kia Soul

The Kia Soul EV comes with two options - 39.2kWh and 64kWh battery packs - and two trims.

For those not needing a 200+ mile real world range, the smaller battery size offers a real world range of 140-150 miles.

Charging wise the Kia uses both Type 2 and CCS connectors. At home via a domestic 7kW wall-box, the Kia Soul will be fully charged in around 10 hours 30 minutes or 6 hours for the small battery. Utilise a 100kW rapid charger out on the road and the battery will charge from 10-80% in less than 45 minutes.
