Audi goes electric with their first pure electric vehicle (EV). The E-Tron is the most advanced Audi yet, a fully electric 5-door SUV (and it’s a quiet ride too). The launch of this EV forms part of Audi’s plans to go carbon neutral by 2050, with more electric Audi models to be announced by the end of 2020.
The E-Tron has a official driving range of 186 miles (WLTP), though we have found a real-world driving range around 175 miles per charge more accurate. The E-Tron has all wheel drive with a dual powered motor and almost instant acceleration, this electric car will reach 0 – 60 mph in under 6 seconds.
The E-Tron has a 71kWh battery, and will take around 13 hours to recharge on a dedicated EV wall box charger. When you’re on the go a 50kW rapid charger will have the E-Tron’s battery at 80 percent within about 1 hour 50 minutes.
