The Ford Focus Electric is Ford’s first full production, all-electric passenger vehicle. The new 2017 version is equipped with the a 33.5 kWh battery (in place of the previous 23 kWh pack) and for the very first time, a DC fast charging inlet (CCS Combo) is also part of the package.
It is equipped with a 6.6 kW fully integrated onboard charger that can deliver 140 miles (NEDC) driving range with 2-3 hours charging and its sophisticated powertrain uses regenerative braking to capture up to 95 per cent of kinetic energy normally lost during the braking process.
The all-electric motor is designed to help reduce energy loss and heat generation while reducing your carbon footprint.
The Ford Focus electric is a refined and well-engineered vehicle and also the most eco-conscious car you’ll sit in: The interior has seat fabric made from 100% recycled materials and cushions made of bio-based foam derived from plant seed oils.
