Audi joins the small group of luxury E-SUV’s with their first all electric vehicle, the E-Tron.
Keeping in line with the familiar Audi look the E-tron was designed to sit between the Q5 and the Q7 models. However, it’s distinguished with unique touches, such as the next level feature of aero-dynamic side view mirrors replacing regular style with cameras feeding into interior screens.
POWER & PERFORMANCE
The e-tron 90kWh battery which powers 2 electric mototrs. This gives it 4-wheel drive which will produce 402 bhp, getting the vehicle to 0 – 62mph in under 6 seconds.
Where rapid chargers are available the E-Tron can be re-charged up to 80% battery in around 30 minutes. In contrast when using a 11kWh home charger, it would take up to 8.5 hours to gain complete charge.
Some of the in-house technology include the Virtual cockpit , Audi MMI® touch response system helping you control all your interior functions, as well as smartphone intergration and Amazon Alexa compatibility.
E-Tron sales are currently expected to begin in Europe in mid-2019.
