This VW ID.4 Life Pure model comes with a 55 kWh capacity battery with a usable capacity of 52 kWh. The ID4 is also available in 2 more battery size options, you can choose between 45, 55 or 77kWh. The 52kWh battery enables the car to achieve a superb official WLTP range of 213 miles, we recommend this EV will achieve a more realistic ‘real world’ range of around 175 miles to a charge. Recharging the VW ID.4 is simple, when you’re plugging in at home using a standard 7 kW wall box charger it should take around 8 hours 30 minutes to fully recharge this car. If you’re on the go and need to top the ID.4 up in a hurry, you can use a public rapid charger gaining 80% charge in just over 30 minutes (using a 100kW rapid charger).
